About Michele

Human connection is important to me, and I believe that strengthening our support system often begins with our families, those we are born with and those we choose.

I work with adults and adolescents using a person-centered approach which helps clients use their strengths to manage life's challenges. My training includes cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

I specialize in couples counseling using the Gottman approach, which helps strengthen the relationship and manage conflict effectively. My practice is inclusive and I welcome LGBTQ+ clients.

I have clinical experience with young people who have experienced trauma, and those with developmental challenges.

Group therapy options are also available for teens and adults, and offer the added benefit of the support of others with shared experiences.

Just give me a call or write me to schedule a phone consultation.
My Story
I wanted to become a counselor to help families regain that feeling of connectedness - to each other and to their communities. I am particularly interested in helping families and couples in crisis.

I received my M.A. in Clinical Counseling from Pepperdine University and am pursuing my license as a professional counselor.
