How much sleep does your teen get every night? The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that between 8 and 10 hours each night is needed during ages 13 to 18. Since many school start times are between 7 and 8 a.m., teenagers have to wake up often by 6 a.m., which places bedtime between 8 and 10 p.m. each night. Positivepsychology.com offers some tips for making sure that you and your teenagers are getting enough sleep to avoid any mood or cognitive challenges during the day. Click here for their 20 Tips.
